Trust & transparency
Provably fair,
every draw.
We use the public randomness beacon to pick the winner, committed in advance. The result is public, the maths is open, and anyone can verify any draw at any time.
Transparent costs
Where your £10 goes.
Every line is published. If we can’t justify it to a subscriber, it isn’t a line item.
Most operators don’t publish their costs. We don’t operate any other way.

Every receipt published
£500 to charity, with proof.
Every donation generates a receipt. Every receipt is published on the charity’s page. Nothing on trust.

The campervan itself. The biggest chunk of your entry by far, exactly what it should be.
£500 to a different charity each month. We rotate through our ten partners so all of them get a turn, with the receipt published every time. Even if you don't win, your entry helped.
The card-processing fee for taking your payment. Shown at worst case here (1.50% + £0.20 per ticket). In practice most people buy more than one ticket at a time, which makes the real fee lower.
Cover for the campervan, right up until the winner has the keys.
Keeping the website running, the winner videos hosted, and your account data secure.
The team behind this. Wages, the advertising that brings new entrants in, the winner handover film, and the small margin that lets us keep doing this.

Predictable cost
How many draws. How much you pay.

Quiet launch
We don’t buy ads. We ask nicely.
Every share replaces a pound of ad spend. Less spend on ads means fewer tickets we need to sell, which means better odds for everyone who enters.
Why we’re asking
The honest growth loop.
Almost no paid ads
Just a little Instagram while we get going. No Google, no retargeting.
Every share saves a pound
Your share is one we don't pay an algorithm for. Multiply it.
That pound stays in the draw
Less to fund through ticket sales means better odds for everyone.
Word of mouth, the original growth channel
One honest exception
We do run a bit of Instagram advertising.
For now. Building something quietly and hoping people find it isn’t enough on day one, so a small amount of paid Instagram bridges the gap until word of mouth catches up. The more this draw gets shared, the sooner we can switch the ads off.
Almost no paid ads, no SEO arbitrage, no retargeting pixels. Just quiet word of mouth, the way the draw should grow.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
The most-asked questions, with full answers.
Your subscription
- Only when a new campervan draw opens. That’s usually the moment the previous one sells out. Most months that’s once. The system enforces a 14-day minimum gap between charges, which caps you at two charges in any rolling four-week window. We email a day before every charge so it’s never a surprise.
- At most twice, never more. The 14-day minimum gap between charges means there can only ever be two draws within any rolling four-week window, and most months it’s just one. If a second draw does open inside the month, you’ll get an email a day before the charge fires, with one tap to pause if you’d rather skip it.
- The moment a new draw opens and your card clears. Your ticket numbers land in the dashboard immediately and an email follows so you have the numbers on record. Until a new draw opens, no tickets and no charge.
- Yes. Hit pause from your dashboard and you won’t be charged for any draw that opens while you’re paused. Resume any time and you slot back into the very next draw. Your subscription stays open in the background, no penalty.
- Yes: switch plan any time from your dashboard. The new ticket count applies from the next draw that opens for you. Nothing about a draw you’re already entered into changes.
- About four per draw, all transactional, none marketing. One the day before each charge so it’s never a surprise. One when you’re in with your ticket numbers. One when the draw runs with the result. One charity receipt link when we’ve paid the partner. Outside a draw cycle, nothing.
- We email you, mark the allocation abandoned, and skip that draw. You’re not enrolled and you’re not billed. Update your card from the dashboard and you’re back in the next draw. If three charges fail in a row your subscription is paused automatically so you don’t keep getting decline notices.
Is this real?
- Campervan.Win is a UK-registered business operating under a verified Gambling Commission exemption. Every payment runs through Stripe, every draw is picked by the public randomness beacon, and the campervan’s V5C transfers to the winner the day after the draw closes. The whole flow is built so nothing rests on our discretion.
- No. UK law treats Campervan.Win as a prize competition rather than a lottery, because every entry includes a free postal entry route and a skill question. We operate under a registered exemption with the Gambling Commission.
- A dedicated UK-based team of adventure lovers who’d rather see this campervan being lived in than sat on a dealership forecourt. If you want to ask anything before entering, drop us a line at hello@campervan.win.
The draw
- By the public randomness beacon. We commit to a future beacon round before its number exists, so the result is mathematically impossible to predict or manipulate, even by us. Every draw is verifiable straight from drand and we publish the proof the moment the result lands.
- Only once every ticket has been sold. Not before. Everyone who entered gets the exact odds they signed up for, and the draw never runs on a half-funded prize pool.
- We don’t draw until every ticket sells. The cap is hard and the odds you signed up for stay true. If a draw is moving slowly we extend the timeline rather than draw early. Worst case: if a draw still hasn’t filled after 90 days, email hello@campervan.win and we’ll refund every entry. Your money is never locked up indefinitely.
What you win
- A brand new Sunlight Vanlife campervan worth £65,000, registered in your name. Delivered to your driveway on a covered transporter, free of charge. Or collected from a Campervan Dealership if you’d rather drive it home yourself.
- No. This draw is for people who’ve always dreamt of owning a campervan. We’d rather see one person who’s wanted this for years end up with the van than have someone flip it for cash.
- No. UK prize competitions don’t generate taxable income, so the full value of the van lands in your hands clean.
Your money
- Yes. One click in your dashboard, no email and no phone call required. Entries you’ve already paid for still count for the draws they’ve been allocated to.
- Yes, while the draw is still open. Email hello@campervan.win with your address and we’ll refund the next working day. Once the draw has ended we can’t refund, because the entries have already been used in the draw they were bought for.
- £500 from every completed draw goes straight to the charity partner for that month. The rest funds the £65,000 campervan prize, payment processing fees, and the cost of running Campervan.Win. The full breakdown is on this page.
The fine print
- Because 7,500× £10 is the smallest number that fully funds the £65,000 prize plus running costs plus the charity donation. It also means your odds of winning are about twice as good as most other £65k campervan draws.
- So everyone has a fair chance and no one can buy their way to the win. With a 5-ticket cap, the person who joined this morning stands on roughly the same footing as someone who joined the day tickets went live.
- Because UK law requires a “skill element” for this to count as a competition rather than a lottery. We deliberately keep the questions easy so getting one wrong isn’t the bar.
Last thing
Built for the person who actually wants the campervan.
Whether you’ve been dreaming about one for years or the idea just landed reading this page, you’re in the right place.
Why we built this
We love campervans. Properly.
Dawn drives. Kettle on by a loch. Three unplanned days at the coast. The freedom of it.
Whether you’ve been dreaming about owning one for years, or fell for the idea this very moment looking at the photos on this page, this draw is for you.
- The smallest honest pool of tickets we could run, so the odds are the fairest we can make.
- Draw decided by the public drand beacon. Anyone can verify the winner after the fact.
- £500 to the charity partner from every full draw, every time.
