How everything works.

Honest odds. Real costs. Provably fair draws. The full mechanic in plain English. No hype, no hidden lines, no time-pressure pop-ups.

About 4 minutes.

The flow

From thinking about it, to the email saying you've won.

Five steps to the draw. Then one of two things happens. The cap is real, the maths is plain, the draw is decided by a public randomness beacon. Nothing happens that we can't show you a receipt for.

Choose how many tickets

Between one and five tickets per draw. The cap is hard. No exceptions, no premium tiers, no bonus tickets for sharing. Each ticket has the same chance, and no one buys their way to better odds.

£10 per ticket. Five tickets max per person.

Subscribe with a card

The card goes through Stripe. You're charged for the current draw on the day you subscribe, so your tickets are in straight away. After that, the card is charged on the day each new competition opens, so you're always paid up before the draw runs. Cancel or pause from your dashboard in one click. We don't store the card number. Stripe does.

Charged when each draw opens. Cancel in one click.

Tickets get allocated each draw

When a draw opens, tickets are allocated in sequence. You see your exact numbers in your dashboard the moment they're issued. Same algorithm for everyone. No priority queue, no early-bird picks, no shuffling.

Allocated in order. Visible in your dashboard.

The draw runs when every ticket is taken

No countdown timers. The draw runs the moment the cap is hit. Could be thirty days, could be three. The drand public randomness beacon picks the winning number on a fixed public schedule. The randomness can't be tampered with, by us or anyone else.

Hard entry cap. Independently verifiable.

You hear by email

Everyone who entered gets an email when the draw runs. The winner sees their ticket number in their dashboard and gets a call within the day. Everyone else gets a link to the public receipt so the result is checkable end to end.

Keys to the campervan

A real person calls to walk through the handover. The campervan is MOT'd, insured for collection, and photographed inside and out before keys change hands. Pick it up in person or have it delivered. Either way, paperwork is sorted and the handover is photographed for the public receipt.

£500 to charity, every full draw

Every full draw sends £500 to a UK charity partner. Ten partners on rotation, one picked each month, the receipt is published the same week. You don't have to win for the draw to mean something.

Why publish at all

The campervan purchase, the charity donation, the Stripe processing fee, the prize insurance, the platform hosting, the team operations. Six lines, no twelfth.

Receipts go on the public record after each draw. If we ever change the model, the change is published with a date stamp. No quiet adjustments, no opaque cuts.

This isn't a marketing claim. It's how every draw has worked since day one.

What's behind the maths

  • No priority queue. First in line gets the same odds as the last.
  • Same algorithm for everyone. No premium tiers, no bonus tickets.
  • The cap is hard. We've never raised it mid-draw.

The draw

Decided by a public beacon. Verifiable by anyone.

We use drand, a public randomness beacon. We commit to a future round before its number exists, then the beacon publishes that number on its own schedule. A published formula turns it into the winning ticket. Nobody, including us, can rig the result.

How the draw is decided

  1. We commit to a future round

When the draw fills, we publish which upcoming drand round will decide it, before that round's number exists.

  2. drand publishes the number

The beacon releases that round on its public schedule, cryptographically signed. Nobody, including us, could predict it.

  3. We derive the winning ticket

A published formula turns that signed number into one ticket between 1 and the cap. No discretion, no human choice.

  4. Anyone can re-check it

Re-fetch the round from drand, re-run the formula, confirm the same winner. Forever, with no account needed.

The whole process is automated. We don't pick, we don't tweak, we don't reroll.

Illustrative. Each draw publishes its own drand round and proof.

  • Re-fetch the round straight from the drand beacon
  • At any time, forever. The beacon doesn't forget
  • Without our cooperation, permission, or login

What this isn't

  • Not crypto. Nobody pays or wins in crypto.
  • Not a website spinner. The randomness comes from outside our system.
  • Not 'trust us'. Anyone can re-check the proof, forever.

£500 every full draw

Ten UK partners. One picked per draw.

Each full draw sends £500 to a UK charity partner. We rotate so every partner gets a turn over time. Every donation is receipted, every receipt is published.

On rotation

Ten partners on rotation. No subscriber voting. That would bias toward big-name charities and squeeze out the smaller ones we love. Every partner gets a turn over time.

What we won't do

The list we measure ourselves against.

Every prize-draw industry pattern we've seen and refused to use. We don't run them because the mechanic doesn't need them.

Things you will not see from us

  • Countdown timers

The draw runs when the cap is hit. Not when a clock runs out. No "last chance!" ticking down anywhere on this site.

    Instead, we

The cap is published and the live progress is on every page.

  • Priority queues

The first subscriber gets the same odds as the last. No early-bird picks, no VIP allocation, no premium tiers.

    Instead, we

Same algorithm, every draw, every subscriber.

  • Bonus tickets for sharing

Sharing a referral link doesn't earn extra entries. Five tickets max per person. Same for everyone.

    Instead, we

Five tickets max per person. The same for everyone.

  • Retention dark patterns

Cancel in one click. No "are you sure?" guilt screens, no "pause for 50% off" save-attempts, no buried unsubscribes.

    Instead, we

One-click cancel from the dashboard. Door's always open.

  • False scarcity

No "tickets running out!" banners. The cap is published. The progress is live. The truth is good enough.

    Instead, we

Live entries-sold count, updated every 30 seconds.

  • Win-back emails

When subscribers leave, they're gone. We don't run abandoned-cart sequences or "come back for a free ticket" upsells.

    Instead, we

When you leave, we leave you alone. One last receipt, then nothing.

Why

Most of the industry's playbook is built on manufactured pressure. A capped, transparent draw doesn't need any of it. The product works without theatrics, and we choose not to add any.

Things you will see from us

  • Every cost line published, every draw
  • Provably fair. The drand beacon picks the winner
  • £500 to a UK charity, every full draw
  • One-click cancel. No retention walls.

If you win

Keys in your hand within ten working days.

Every step from your number coming up to the moment you drive (or have it delivered) home. The campervan is MOT'd, insured for collection, photographed inside and out, and the paperwork is sorted before you arrive.

From win to keys

  1. A real person calls

A team member rings you the same day your ticket comes up. If we can't reach you, follow-up by email and SMS, plus a second call the next working day. Not a sales pitch. It's logistics and timeline.

    Your part

Answer the phone. Confirm collection or delivery preference.

  2. Paperwork sorted

We handle V5C transfer, insurance handover, MOT confirmation, road tax, and pre-handover service documentation. You provide ID and proof of address. Nothing else.

    Your part

Send a photo of your ID and a recent proof of address. That's it.

  3. The campervan is prepped

MOT'd, cleaned, serviced, and photographed inside and out with timestamps. The photos go on the public receipt alongside the drand round and proof so anyone can see exactly what was handed over.

    Your part

Nothing this phase. We handle the whole prep end. You'll get a photo update when it's ready.

  4. Collection or delivery. Your choice

Collect in person from a Campervan Dealership (we spend an hour walking through every system in the van), or have it delivered on a covered transporter to your driveway. Delivery doesn't cost you anything.

    Your part

Confirm date and address. Be home for the transporter, or come to the dealership.

  5. Keys change hands

A final photo set goes on the public receipt. You with the keys, anonymised if you prefer. Then it's yours.

    Your part

Sign one handover form. Take the keys. Drive away.

What we provide

  • The campervan itself, paid in full
  • MOT and pre-handover service
  • Insurance for collection day
  • All paperwork: V5C, MOT, service history, leisure-battery test
  • In-person or video walkthrough of every system
  • 12-month support for vehicle questions

What we don't

  • Your own insurance from collection day onwards
  • Annual road tax after the first year
  • Pitch fees, fuel, campsite bookings
  • Anything trip-related

Your choice on publicity

Be named, be anonymised, or skip the photos.

Winners can be named (default: first name + city, e.g. "Sarah, Bristol"), anonymised ("Winner, Bristol"), or decline photo publication of themselves. The campervan and the drand round and proof are always published. That's the public receipt. We never publish full names, addresses, or contact details.

Pause, change, cancel

All from the dashboard, in one click.

We don't lock subscribers in. Pause if a month's tight. Change how many tickets you hold. Cancel and we'll send your last receipt, then leave you alone.

Three buttons, no hoops

  • Pause

Skip a draw or three without losing your spot.

Hit pause from the dashboard. The card stops being charged. Resume any time before the next draw opens and you're back in. We don't mark your account as "lapsed", we don't send "come back!" emails, and you don't have to re-sign-up.

    Our promise

No "reactivate" upsell when you come back.

  • Change

Adjust how many tickets you hold.

Move between one and five tickets per draw any time. The new count kicks in from the next draw. Your current draw isn't affected. Same dashboard, same one click.

    Our promise

No "are you sure you want fewer?" nag.

  • Cancel

    End the subscription cleanly.

One click. Your current draw's tickets stay valid until that draw runs. No new charges, no follow-up emails, no win-back sequence. We send your last receipt and that's that.

    Our promise

No retention wall, no guilt screens, no buried links.

The point

The mechanic doesn't need retention tricks. If subscribers stay, it's because they want to. If they leave, that's the relationship we wanted in the first place: ours to earn, not yours to escape.

Common questions

Things people ask before they subscribe.

The short answers, on the page. The longer FAQ is at /faq if you want every detail.

Yes. One click from the dashboard. Your current draw's tickets stay valid until the draw runs, no new charges happen, and we send you a final receipt. No retention walls, no win-back emails, no "are you sure?" guilt screens.

The draw runs the moment the last ticket sells. The drand public randomness beacon picks the winning number on its public schedule. Everyone who entered gets an email within minutes with the result and a link to the public receipt.

Between one and five. The cap is hard and the same for everyone. No priority queues, no premium tiers, no bonus tickets for sharing.

The draw doesn't happen. The cap is hard. If there aren't enough tickets sold, no winner is drawn that month. Subscribers stay subscribed and roll into the next draw.

It's a UK prize competition, not gambling. There's a skill question on entry (legal requirement), a free postal entry route, a hard entry cap, and a published cost model. We comply with all UK Gambling Commission guidance for prize draws.
